where i work


i'm a full time dreamer

who has never missed a day of work.

i write notes to myself about notes i should write.

i can't commit to anything for much longer than a few moments at a time.

as a matter of fact

i'm tempted to stop writing this

because i can hear an ice cream truck in the distance.

i'm a flirt.

i love strippers and booz, in that exact order.

i snore loud and i sing soft. mostly luther tunes.

i can't do magic tricks, and i am far too easily impressed by them.

i would love to levitate as long as i could learn how to do it in a day.

i own a harmonica that i never play

a watch i refuse to wear

and an amp for a bass guitar that i have no plans of buying.

sometimes i get lost in my own ideas

but i'm learning to deal with it.

a bit more each day.

i am both a work in progress

and progressive work

just ask my friends

i am shallow ice with

'do not walk' signs all around me

but still there are footprints right next to the cracks
